IT'S BEEN A WHILE, SINCE MY LAST POST. I GOT MARRIED AND HERE'S WHAT MY LIFE'S BEEN LIKE FOR THE PAST 4 MONTHS.

HE LOVES SLEEPING IN HIS CRIB... ONLY FOR THE PICTURES THOUGH, HE STILL LIVES AT HOME WITH HIS PARENTS.

 As I boarded the Flight to Los Angeles This past Friday, I said my prayers as I usually tend to do and was on my way. I had a carry on bag full of TY&GB Clothing as I was ready to Hit the road running. We have a Family business that had a booth at the LA County Fair this past year so I decided to take my brand new shirts out there to spread the message. My first customers as I arrived were my Mother and Aunt. (I Love her, She has supported me in all my endeavors) I got a lot of great responses from people just noticing that I had the "God Bless" Shirt on and It made everyone that Said something about it seem to smile and greet me with Joy.

On Sunday they had a Youth dance and praise Ministry perform and completely helped minister to me. They were wonderful.  A group from the Mountain View Faith Community Church (www.MFCC.tv) The spirit of containment tried setting in with doubts of whether to approach this crowd about my shirts. I remembered a Sermon that my Pastor preached during Last Weeks Bible Study on how the Devil tries to use this spirit on us to keep us from stepping out on what God has told us to do. So I waited a little longer (I Know, God wants us to MOVE NOW) but prayed for the Spirit to move me from being shy about Letting others know about God. So I kept hearing my Pastors Voice about (If only Christians would be BOLD enough to speak on Christ as they do everything else....) So I decided to approach a Member. His name was Jay I believe. We spoke for a little bit and I told him exactly what was put in my heart and about the T-Shirt Line. The brother was Kind and Loving, Bought a Shirt from me and asked to pray with me right there at the booth. I've been praying in church for awhile now and no longer did I feel "weird" about prayer in the midst of "everyone else" as I used to feel when I was growing up as a teenager.

I ended up meeting with their Youth Pastor and he also gave me some Great words of encouragement and some pointers on how to keep the journey going. He spoke pretty much what my Pastor has been saying to me for the past year and a half on always Praying. It was refreshing to see other young Christian Men out and about fired up for Christ that it completely made my whole trip. I will continue Walking out on Faith and spreading God's message because he knows what's in my Heart.

My 31'st Birthday Clothing Drive for Kenyan Children

Last year for my 30th Birthday I proposed to my Wife. That was a big day in my life. This year for my 31st Birthday I decided that I wanted to be able to share my Blessings with those that are less fortunate.  My Birthday will be on Saturday Aug 13^th and This year for my Birthday I am collecting Donated Clothes (New or Used) and will be sending them off to my Native country of Kenya to Help some Orphans & Less Fortunate individuals. I contacted my cousin Tony in Nairobi Kenya & made some plans on how I would be able to help out. He informed me of an Orphanage & a community that these clothes would help.  If you have any kid’s clothes from 3-13 years old and regular adult clothes you no longer need, It would mean a lot to me if you could contact me so I may send these off to Kenya on my B'day to Help others.  Feel free to contact me through email at AceBlackMan@Gmail.com or Twitter @AceBlack I can also pick up any clothes on Tuesday or Sunday Nights until August 14th at my Church between 6-9pm (1830 W. Why is the Freshness so FRESH:

We listen to our listeners and develop a CD dedicated to their normal experiences and diverse tastes. We also have a vision to take this beyond just mixtapes and we keep our product clean enough so that the children that do come into contact don't progress in learning vulgar venacular. 

It is our obligation as leaders in this industry to meet & create something that will create more positivity in hip hop and music as a whole. We cannot do it overnight but we can at least start by creating at least a clean MIXTAPE.

Random Act of Kindness at Starbucks

I walked into a Starbucks Coffee this morning... As I sat down, A Brother saw me and out of the Blue Offered to Buy me some Coffee.. This random act of kindness kind of caught me off guard at first but I was appreciative and accepted the Offer.. After we chatted for a brief minute, I offered him Christ for his Kindness and Invited him to Bible Study with me..

I then turned around and saw another brother sitting down.. So being filled with Kindness from the earlier Act; I went and offered him a flyer for our Bible Study.. This brother in turn gave me an Affirmation card and gave me a great scripture that went with what our pastor preached on this past Sunday..

Lately I've started realizing that the Promoter in me always wants to invite people to places.. Back in the days it was invitations for 2 for 1 drinks and nowadays it's Bible Study.. I like being able to try and bring my peers to a place where i feel like they'll receive the same kind of joy I'm receiving..

Pastor Gave us a word on Just LIVING in the Light and letting that Show.. I understand how most of my peers nowadays act like I used to back in the days.. I would always turn down invitations to go to church or bible studies.. so I can see from the other side now why our generation is not lining up to the end of the block for Jesus as I used to watch them line up when i'd have BIG (I mean HUGE 1,000+) Parties.. As a Christian, we all have our own walks as to when we find Christ.. As long as you find him before you leave this earth is what matters the most.. But why not find Christ at an earlier point and Live out Thy Kingdom ON EARTH, as it will be in HEAVEN??

Soooo, This Man i met at Starbucks touched upon this topic well.. He told me that when we find Happiness and Christ, we want to take that power and try to send it or use it in our own ways.. He told me basically what pastor preached on to Just LET GOD use me in the way he see's and Continue Walking in the Light of Being a Christian So that Through My Walk, I may be an influence to others..

I might not necessarily get 1,000 People to come out to Bible Studies like i used to pack the Clubs on a Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat or Sun Night; But If i Keep on Walking in God's Spirit and Learning more about Giving and Spreading Love; One day YOU might be inspired to be a better Person & not feel ashamed to start out on your very own Walk with Christ.. So Instead of the normal, Come out message, I leave you with this Testimony..

Never be ashamed to speak or walk your Faith.. You ARE the Change that you've been waiting on.. Until i realized that, i was not able to start my walk fully.. Once i did, I've been on fire ever since and i continue building daily... If you need any prayers or want to chat with me on the Steps i Took, Let me know because through Social Networking and my Notes, I pretty much got a Record of this Change in me from my beginning.. It's a Daily Walk so just take it as that.. Start off by the Basics that you learned as a Child.. Repent and Believe in your HEART that God raised Jesus from the Dead and that You're Saved..

God Helped me set my Mind to Quit Drinking

God helped me Set My Mind..

Romans 12:2 - Be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the Renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

When I Set my mind to let God control my life again, I was able to set my mind to his will which was to help me be able to control the things which were controlling my LIFE..

Christians want to CHANGE their lives or Ask for Help over things they feel like they cant control but are not willing to ALSO do the work Required.. God doesn't say, Pray for a Job and NOT send out any resumes.. I prayed to be rid of my Wants for Carnal things, I had to do MY part too by removing certain things that led to them. I replaced Scriptures and Weekly Bible Studies in Place of What i Used to do.

Just like everything else in Life, Change also takes PRACTICE.. Now that i'm a few days from reaching my goal, I can see all the Sacrifices & Prayers i made for strength when I needed it.. I thank God for Using me to show others that His Grace comes to ANYONE who seeks it and is willing to live in his spirit.. Alcohol & Sex No Longer Runs my llife.. Now that i have Confidence in how to stick to God's word & use the Strength that he has given all of us, I Believe that Everything I've ever wanted in this Life WILL be Attained through God's Word.. #MyTestimony

Todays #BigEvent - Ace Black The Umpire

I must say, I had fun today.. Beyond the constant running around that i've grown accustomed to enjoying as normalcy; When I got on that Baseball Field tonight, I felt at Peace.

I got to watch 12 year old boys play Baseball. This Season, I'll be doing a lot of that. I finally Became an Umpire in the South Mountain Little League Baseball league.

Tonight was my 1st time stepping foot on a Baseball Field since my Freshmen year in college at the University of Washington 1999 Purple & Gold Game. I Never knew it would be my Last, I had hit a double and a Triple that game. Coach Ken Knutson Gave me the Bad News of Being Cut from the 2 Time Pac 10 Champion Huskies.. I had so many fond memories up until that moment..

The Game was fun.. The Kid's playing gave me a great dose of medicine without noticing.. I was able to finally let go of the What If's and Wondering how far I would have gone had I not taken that Small Setback and Kept on Persevering. They Gave me a chance to Just sit back and Enjoy watching them Live their Lives playing a sport that brings them Joy.. Tonight, It was THERE turn.. I was able to LET GO and Let the Cycle of LIFE play out it's role.. I was able to Embrace TODAY for what it was and make the Most of this Period in my Life so I can have Fond Memories when I one day get a chance to look at THIS period in time through someone else going through it Days before their 30th B'day..

I Guess i'm embracing LIFE and starting to Just sit back and Enjoy Each Stage for what it holds.. I really Can't wait for the Stage when i'm watching my Future Unborn Sons Play.. But Until then, I gotta practice the Lesson I learned today..

I WILL ENJOY THIS PERIOD OF MY LIFE AND LIVE IT TO THE FULLEST WITHOUT LETTING MYSELF DOWN IN THE FUTURE.. YOU SHOULD TRY IT..
